one way disk tiller size

Anyone pull a one way disk tiller with a JD 620/630 or similar HP tractor? I was wondering what lenght they can pull well. Thanks

Used to pull an Athens 5 disc tiller with an A JD in fourth gear. Not a problem.

I think you could pull a 10 or 14 disk Surflex wih a JD 620/630 with no problems.

We had a 4 foot cut 5 disk disk tiller we pulled with a JD B. was times that was about all that tractor wanted. Very heavy with
cast wheels. More like wheel weights than wheels. Sure did a number on cutting up sod. Second pass crossways was one rough ride!

When I was a youth I plowed many acres with a JD 8 disk one-way pulled by a JD 530

Hello Kevin,
I am planning to look at one my grandpa had when it warms up and see if it is usable. If it is I wont need one, but if it isnt then I will start to look as I think it would fit into my operation well.
