What can you tell me about them? Currently using a 1091, like it but would like to get bigger (realize I'm only gaining a ft, but can't get too much bigger most places I rent have 12-14 ft gates). 1091 has been good to me but is getting worn out.
Thanks for the input.

They're only 9 foot too aren't they? I had one,I didn't think it was 10. No major issues with it,they're getting to be an older machine is all. I figured it was a better machine than the ones with the augers and short rolls. The tongue mounts dead center on the 1010 so you can cut on either side.

Anything special to look for? Other than that this one appears to be a bit less worn out than mine am I gaining anything by switching from a 1091 swing tongue to the 1010 hydra. swing?

You'll save some time cutting. Make six rounds around the outside then you can cut straight back and forth. As far as anything mechanical,I don't think you're gaining anything.

I think in general you save time with a hydra-swing. You can swing it around and be back in the cut by the time you get 1/2 way across the section you split off to cut in chunks. Lots less partial rows from a poor split too.

I know some guys go roundy roundy, but not me. Don't like having to make so many corners with all the equipment.

If it was me I would stick with the 1091, I have seen the hydraulic swing motor give a few problems and I think they can be expensive to fix. I think the 1091 has a better knife drive best I can remember its been a while.
