Need A Bearing Cover, Case Disc.

Here is a picture of the disc. I THINK Mr. ACG identified it last time, but I still don't have the "proper" model number of it?

It is the biggest they came. 10 foot, big discs. I need the top half, of the bearing cover (if that's what they are called?) for the left rear gang, VERY left position (outside).

Someone had allowed the gang to get loose, and that outside disc was waddling around and cracked it. I V'ed it out and brazed it up, but it was already a pretty bad break... It got me through the 7 acres I disced up last fall, and that was great, but it broke apart by the end of the day. Disc still rolls along just fine, as just a small chunk from the outside broke off, but I still would like to replace it!! Anyone have a part number? I could go look at the disc, but it is about 4 miles away.

Thanks!!! Bryce

Awesome! Thanks for the info. I should just go into the local Big R and see what they have. Also wondering if these things were all pretty similar? They ALL had a 1" square shaft right? Any reason I couldn't put a JD spacer and bearing caps on it???? :p I have 10 of those in the shed!

Maybe I could use one of these too? What do you guys think?

1" shaft by itself dosen't mean much. A lot is length of spool in the bearing, 6 1/4", 6 1/2". 6 3/4", 7", 7 1/4" or 8 3/4", 9", 9 1/4"? Them what is the spacing of the bolt holes and how wide is the housing where the bolts go through? All questions, no answers.

He says in the ad that it is set up for 7 1/2 inch disc spacing, so I would have to check and see what mine is. Really think I might try to use a JD one though. The only difference / issue I can forsee, is where the two holes bolt to the frame, but that can be take care of! ;)
