Does anyone have an idea of how many bushel of shelled corn a brock 6 ton bin will hold

Do the math. 6 ton(12,000 pounds)divided by 56 pounds(bushel wt) equals........214.28 bushels

I did that math and it just doesn't look right
The bin looks a lot bigger than my 165 bu grain wagon
That's why I asked here thought I was missing something

Brock literature: capacity is figured on 40 lbs per cubic foot. You can"t directly figure tonnage equals bushels. ie- a Brock bin, model 1-00603 is a 6 foot diameter, 60 degree center draw hopper, at 15 feet, 9 inches tall. Cubic feet 267.4., 5.9 tons at 40 lbs/cu ft., 239 bushels.

Their 12 and 15 foot wide bins, designed for wet corn holding tanks, are figured at 45 lbs/cu ft.
