Brady chisel plow size and weight?

Could someone tell me the dimensions of the frame and about his much it weighs. Will it fit in a full size
pickup bed without back shanks?

as Steve said it's not going to fit into a pickup box unless you don't think much of your F350,I wouldn't even consider putting it in mine, if it's close put it on a hayrack, if it's further away you better borrow a trailer, that's what they are for

I figured it would fit. But I guess ill have to borrow my grandpas trailer. because scratches in my moms (yes my moms) 350 would put me and dad in grave danged. :)

Just isn't worth the risk. One screw up and you could demolish the box side or it could shift and dent or poke a hole in the wheel well. I realize pickups are made to be used but they don't need to be abused.

Chisels are typically set up on shanks 12 inches apart...with 9 shanks, plus a few inches frame overlap, it"s ten feet. Gotta find a trailer.

I checked some lit- I think it was Brillion- ten foot frame (only) is 626 lbs. Shanks would not be over 100 lbs, I would think. But still, not good in the pickup, although years ago I had an F100 with a 2rw AC corn head in the box. Head was around 1500 lbs. FWIW, a 250 bu gravity box on 8-10 ton gear is about 2200 lbs. I have a 325 bu on 10 ton gear that scaled 2580 this fall.

Whole lot of machinery jockeys would make that work, with something else stacked on top and pulling a manure spreader yet..... Not saying that would be legal but it would be common.....

But I would not put a chisel plow in moms pickup and hope to ever, ever, ever be able to borrow a vehicle again..... Lot of points hanging down and stuff to mess up the pickup box......

If you put a couple of blocks down the width of the bed then set it on the front face it would fit and not damage the box. You would need to tie it to the sides of the box both ways. The shanks would be facing the ditch then. It would be setting on the hitch brackets. Would ride good. Might want to tie the bottom from sliding sideways like the top.
