Jeeps attempt to be a farm and ranch vehicle

they actually had a good idea and a market for the jeep when wwll ended, car makers including willys were afraid of a slump in the market if all the jeeps went surplus and sold cheap, that happened after ww1 when surplus vehicles hit the civilian market , on the home front most of the vehicles were about run into the ground, and a cheap replacement would be deadly to car manufactures, i think what killed the farm jeep was implements made by other manufactures for the jeep that really didnt work well with it,also limited to certain operations of farming and hp requirements, i would love to have one today though

2x,
I went back and check the original link
it has the period in the middle of the tu.be
do not know why it did not work,

I double checked the link and it worked on my machine,
but my wife bought me a Walmart computer so who knows what it will do

how-sum-ever, I did enjoy watching the film
they were doing their best to promote the jeep brand after the war,

This might be wrong video but it is a Jeep plowing 1m34s

The other thing is the jeep could do several things, it just couldn't do any of them particularly well. As a car is was slow, drafty and fuel hungry. As a "tractor" is couldn't pull especially well and was cumbersome. As a "truck" it could only carry or tow a small load.

I couldn't make the link work either.

Here is the video Duner posted.

And here is another one I found. It's about 20 minutes long.
