Rebuild my Demco sprayer boom with flow monitors

After last year I'd like to monitor my sprayer nozzles. Wilger helped me with what I need..My setup will be a manifold with 3 flow tubes per boom section. ...just looking what others have done. I have 3 15 foot sections....3 spray nozzles per flow tube. I will reuse my electric controls which has 3/4" flow thru with 1/2" controlled to my wilger manifold. My old boom plumbing had 1/2" hose from my controls to each 15' section then upsized to 3/4" to the 9 nozzle bodies. Wilger suggested 3/4" hose for everything due to pressure loss. Or could I use 1/2" up to each 3 nozzle setup. Thanks

Sounds like overkill to me.

My sprayer has a 60 foot boom in three sections. 3/4 from the valves to the center of each section then 1/2 from center of section to the nozzles on 15 inch centers. That makes it 8 nozzles for each run on 1/2 hose. I apply 15 gal per acre at 8 mile a hour.

Not sure I get exact application but the weeds die without streaks.
