Farmhand Blower Fan Removal

Anyone out there removed the blower fan from a Farmhand 810 or 815 and can offer some insight? Aluminum fan on a steel shaft with a 1/2-inch spring pin through both.

Appears like I've got to pull the fan to remove the sheet metal blower fan housing. So, just pound like he!! on spring pin and hope I can wiggle fan off shaft? Not much room to get any kind of puller on the front of fan.

New fan is $350 from AGCO. I should be happy one is still available, as the current one is corroded down to nothing.
