I've come across an unusual (at least to me) bearing on my Farmhand 810 feed mill with sheller. I'm looking for the correct name of this style of bearing in order to search for a replacement.
Bearing is on bottom of vertical auger shaft (auger moves shelled corn up to hammer mill intake). The ball part fits inside of the flanges with the oilite bushing in the ball. Shaft drops into assembly from the top.
Sheller parts book lists PN as 17941 or 7478-6. Description is 'Pillow Block Bearing.' Oilite bushing has 7/8-inch ID for shaft. There is old grease packed into the ball part as if the oilite bushing turned in that bore. The rest of the bearings on the sheller are the standard bearing with locking collar, which I can get from Shoup, etc.
