Minnesota 110 manure spreader

this weekend i picked up a Minnesota spreader. I did some research before hand because i could not find markings and such on it. its is functional, chains in good shape but needs a little work, new wooden chain tensioners, missing covers. the biggest thing is one of the shaft seals is leaking on the gear box. the PO would add a quart of oil before use every time. Oil leaks on anything drive me nuts. Does anyone have a parts break down for the gear box on these. if no avail i have seen a manual on fleabay. worst case i will have to take the gear box off and get some measurements and find a seal that will fit

I have a Minnesota binder with many different parts books and operator manuals. I will check it out in the morning.

Take the seal to your nearest bearing supply house and they should be able to match it.

After looking at the parts books I have, they are nondescript. They give a part number but I don't know what it corresponds to. Take a look at the attachments I took from the part book. I hope I have the right
pictures for you. Otherwise, I like what Dick2 stated, take it in and have them size it up with a new one.
