I am replacing the drive chain on my new holland skid steer and am unable to find a diagram that shows how the chain is routed on the gears.messicks website was of no help.If anyone can explain it or post an image I would very much appreciate it.thanks in advance

If you took it off,you can retrace your 'steps' to reinstall. A parts diagram should show how it goes. The parts diagram will tell what size of chain, and how long(number of links).

Im having trouble with the idler gears that I cant see down in the case.taking it out was a matter of getting an end and pulling. The parts diagram shows a chain but not the full routing as there is more than one chain in that case

Well I just looked at the parts diagram and with a little thought I see how the chains are routed. If that isn't good enough, a service manual may do a better job of describing the chain routing.

Sometimes it is 'hit/miss-trial and error method. if one way doesnt work, try another. Kind of like the serpentine belt on my pickup.
