Does anyone on here have a resource for old JD Van Brunt FB grain drill parts? I particularly need drop tubes.

Thanks in advance,

Tim

John Deere used to sell a kit to convert to flexible rubber tubes on both the single disk and double disk drills. Last drill I did though was over 15 years ago so not sure if they still have it or not.

Still available from DEERE, if you can't find used ones.

Original part number JJ288M subs to individual parts, including a rubber convoluted hose to replace the original coiled steel tube.

Okay, when I look that up I see that it is the tube top and tube assembly. Mine evidently was converted at some point as it has rubber drop tubes extending from the tube top. Are you saying Deere still has a full conversion to a corrugated type tube top and tube? Because that would be just north of awesome.

Looks (at least to me) that you can still get all the parts individually.

JJ1249M (top spout welded assembly) $69.10 (OUCH!... didn't realize they were THAT high!)
M17501 (convoluted tube) $16.89
R44302 (plastic tie band) $0.09
AM11768 (NOT sure what this is.. GUESS it's ring and clip that attach bottom of tube to opener) $8.55

good thing I only need one top, and two tubes. Wouldn't take long to add up at that rate.

Thanks Rob

You better find a salvage yard. I have one messed up on my drill, all JD could get me was a short flexible rubber tube about 18" too short with large hose clamps on each end. I left it there. I have seen many with a piece of hose for the tube. Chris
