Hi guys,
Made a deal for a tractor recently and some JD implements were included with the deal. Today I brought home one of the implements which is some sort of JD Two Bottom Plow. It has no markings on it that I can see other than the JD Green and yellow paint in a few spots, and it has two rubber spoke tires and one solid metal one in the back. I would like to be able to repair this plow to working order to use but am unsure how it works and it does need a new rim. One of the tires appears to have some sort of gearbox on it with a lever and the hitch is some weird shape so I don't really know how it attaches.
I will also be bringing home a JD Sickle Bar Mower later this week which appears to be a semi mount? It has one tire, a hydraulic cylinder, and a place where it appears to attach to the tractor but am not entirely sure how it works.
The tractor that I am getting that these implements go with is a John Deere B and both these implements are supposed to fit this tractor. I am hoping to be able to use both of these once I figure out how they work and what they are exactly.
If i did this properly, there should be pictures of both implements below. I will try to get better pictures of the plow, specifically the hitch, as it was dark by the time we got home with it.
Thanks in advance,
