I ran a Versatile pull-type swather for my Dad in the mid 1960s in North Dakota. Anyone have any experience with them and know where one would be now that is useable. They had their own built-in hydraulic lift.

I still have a Versatile model 10, 18 ft. The swather mounted hydraulic pack was an option, as most tractors had their own hydraulic system. Me and the swather are in central ND ;-)

Are you willing to post a picture of it? Is it for sale? 18 ft is bigger than I had in mind. Not sure what the smallest model would be. I could look for a 12 ft swather instead. I volunteer at Farmamerica near Waseca, MN and we are trying to expand our shows to represent more of the timeline of the crops and crops across a lots of different areas of MN.

Northern and Northwest MN would have used swathers and combines with the pickup heads and it would be nice to have some of that era of machines in our festivals. Right now all we have is straight cut heads for our small grain.
