bale accumulator

I'm looking at getting a accumulator. What would be a fair price for a Farmhand F100D be. It is setup for a HN baler with a flywheel pump. I don't have any
experience with them. but have seen them priced from $640 to over $3000.

Thanks

I have run a square baler for a neighbor that has one for the last three years. They are very simple in construction and operation. Once you get it fine tuned which isn't very difficult, it takes the hard work out of bale handling. Turns it into a one or two man operation, depending how fast you need to move. Price wise, you get what you pay for. Make sure all the items are there. LE

look around and find an all manual accumulator. I"d stay away from the hydraulic driven ones. Too many things to screw up and they need to be adjusted perfectly and the bales need to be consistant. The manual ones work great.......I had one and it was flawless. 'Used it for 12 years and the wife finally said she was done with small square bales. 'Go figure.........and she's only 61 years old.

We have a Parrish agraturf. Accumulator and grapple. 4500 out the door. The 10 bale accumulator pins under the grapple. You collect the tens then take the collecter off. Then load bales on trailers. And haul to shed and unload. Takes a good loader operator. But 2 people can pickup and unload about 200 a hr. And be cool all the while. Or the same time to load and unload 20 big bales.

Yes. Easy to stack in Barn. Harder to stack on trailer. Hard for me to stay square with it. Google them.
