Kewannee 1020 or IH 490

I'm looking at 2 different disc right now to turn in rye and follow the moldboard plow. Both are 20' and same price. Both field ready. What are the goods and bads of both? Thanks.

IH 490 is a better disk. Plus you have some parts availability. The Kewanee disk is not a bad one but there are few parts available other than blades and bearings.

I have all Deere equipment but discs. Both of the main discs are IH. Have a 490 and 496 and the 490 seems to be the better of the two. Its heaver built. we have an kewannee that we don't use much but is a heavy cutting disc. If the metal that hold the gangs on goes around the to the other gang its the heavy one if it ends with the gang it is the lighter one.
