My picker has a tensioner on the main drive chain. I took it apart and I can't find any bearing in the hub. The shaft is warn badly. Anybody know where to buy new parts. Does IH still have parts for these old pickers?

I remember going after one of those idler sprockets close to 45 years ago. They were so miserable expensive at that time I about came unglued. If they are available and have gone up as much as other parts have,they're probably about the price of a new pickup by now.

I think you are talking about sprocket MX6080, split outer race M76893 (order U 17709), roller bearing 20460D (will work for 74331 R91), Grease retainer washer M81540, and Main drive chain idler sprocket stud U14763

I have no idea about availability but maybe those part numbers will help.

MX6080 - available.

20460D - available.

M81540 - available.

U14763 - only 1 Available!

Seems that the split outer race is NLA.

All others are available thru the Parts Depot. Find a dealer that works with them, and they can price them out for you.

Thanks to all and sorry I didn't respond sooner. My lap-top went vacation to the computer shop. In the mean time I bought sprocket and a bolt and some washers.
