side shooter bailer. They were small, and the bale came out the side. I hired one to do my bailing in 68 or 9, and saw a couple of others used, But sure didn't see many.
 
114 was the smaller of the 2 and built for less time. The 14 is it is a 14" tall bale while the 16 is a 16" tall bale. First series 116W was built 46 to 49 and secong series built 50 to 56. Think 114 buit 50 to about 54. I have both early and late versions of the 116 baler. Before that the bales came out the back same as later balers.
 

We Loved our 116W...it never would wear a draw-bar or wear out a transmission...

I still have some wire roller guides, etc for one..they could handle a massive amount of hay in a Day..!!

Did you ever have a wagon loading bale chute? and if you did was it a Deere made unit or a Holdren Brs made in West Liberty that Deere coppied but never had to pay any roilities to for the Holdren Brs. did not ever patent that bale loding unit.
