Anyone ever had one of these and can tell me how they liked it. Any advantages over a 3 point lift type? This one hooks to the draw bar.

I had one just like it! Mowed great just not as handy as a 3 point for brush when you need to lift it and put down on multi flower rose.

I had much rather use a pull type than a 3pt,plus they aren't nearly as hard on the tractor and it only takes a couple minutes to hook up.No hydraulics required so they work
real well with older tractors.

My cousin bought a 7ft. Allis Chalmers trail type rotary. That machine was built like a tank. He used it 20 years and it was sold on his estate sale for more than he paid for it.

Very nice and I have used them both ways and prefer to reverse the wheels, so they run along-side the BuchHog...

You can turn much sharper turns with the wheels up closer, without the PTO rattling ..!!

Your rear wheels will tramp the grass down anyway...!!

+. it is easier to hitch with the weight balanced on the wheels...

FWIW....Ron..

I have the same model, only 3 point. I wish i had the pull type instead. Does the left side sheet unbolt so you can cut hay? Mine does, and it doesn't do a bad job at that.
