Neighbor say I can have it if I fix it up. Looks like all it needs is a new pitman arm, a few rock gaurds, 1 new tire, and of course some paint. It is the pull behind type. I am kinda curious about how the sickle lift is supposed to work. I would like to set it up with a lift cylinder if possible. Could any of you share your knowledge or pics. I cant pass up a free peice of equipment that is only a few dollars awy from being feild ready.

We have a number 10 at the farm. I bought a pitman arm aboout 10 years ago and it was hard to get then. One of the universal ones should work with a little effort. The sickle and gaurds are relative easy to get ahold of. My problem is mine needs a new drive belt and CaseIH says they can't get one. I thnk I will have to try and match it up with a snowmobile drive belt. The sickle bar itself is lifted off the ground by a small hydralic cylinder. The cylinder goes up front in the hitch area. It only lifts it over the ground about a foot. To transport you have to lift it up in the air and chain it up. Nice little mower..I mowed alot of hay and pasture with one. Good sharp knives and you can cut down decent size multiflora rose bushes and small trees with it. Good luck.

I have just purchased a Case 10 sickle mower and I would appreciate getting a copy of the operators manual.

I would also like to purchase a new knife if anyone knows where one is available. the old one has been broken and welded.

Case Hi said they could get me a belt out of Portland Or. They wanted about $100.00. I match one up and ordered it online for about $15.00. If you want I can give you the belt number and where I ordered it from.

I still have it and can email it if you can receive attachments of up to 10 meg. I need your email address
