Ferguseon single, slat moldboard plow.

3 point single plow with slatted moldboard. I jut got this and was wondering if there are may like it. Thanks

would like to see a picture of the plow.

most single plows were solid wings such as a 16-AO-28

info I saw said an E was a slat wing.

no reason they did not make them, so it just may be more rare.

do you see a tag number, something like 16-AE-28 (example)

am sure there is a reason they made slat wing plows, easier to pull, different type ground.
I just do not know.

Slotted moldboards are supposed to scour better in sticky soils.

Dra,

I looked for a Ferguson 3 pt slat wing single plow and I never found one.
I did find one that was originally a 2 bottom slat wing plow that someone had removed one plow.

check out these pictures.
the only 3 pt Ferguson single plow I found any pictures of was a solid wing plow.

again its possible Ferguson made one, if you have one and its not a modified two bottom, then I would hold on to it.

Looks like you have one,
If it were me,

I would try to find a coulter for the plow and then hold on to that baby, there can not be to many of them around.

Only one I ever saw.

I got it to use but if its rare I hate to do that and break it in our stone filled ground. Wonder what is worth? I suppose there are Ferguseon collectors.
