NH 310 small square baler questions

Hi, I have a couple of questions to ask the forum about my NH 310 baler.
1. Slip clutch, (I'll try to post up a photo of the parts breakdown) #8 in the diagram is the bolt that fastens the assembly. Well, on my baler that bolt loosens up during use continuously. The pins and springs inside don't look wore, nor does the disc the pins ride in. Any thoughts on this? While baling I make right turns, or turn into my hay, is this maybe wrong with this baler? It's what I was taught.

2. On the pickup wheel, and pickup, there is the notched bar that holds the pickup up for transportation. What pin goes into (one) of the 6 or 8 holes in this bar to allow for pickup to only drop so far over terrain? There is an "L" shaped pin that I use to lock into transport, but it is rectangular and won't fit into the round holes (duh). Any help appreciated.

The threads are probably worn from continously being loose and tightened. Secure it with locktite.Yes,turn right, into the
wqindrow.I just used to stick a bolt in to keep the pickup at a 'prescribed' hieght for baleing.I suppose you could use a heavy
'hairpin'.Just use what will fit the hole and secure it so it doesnt fall out.

Thanks for your reply. I had thought of loctite, but wanted to be sure that would be the right thing to do.

For the pickup bar holes, I thought maybe therewas a specific hairpin, since the wall of the pickup shroud is so close, there's not much if any clearance behind that bar. I guess a really short bolt and lock nut will work.

Thanks again !

The square pin does not go in the hole
rather it holds the bar in or at least on
mine it did you push the bar in on to
notches then slide the square piece down
behind the bar to hold that in place
