I was cutting hay with my Model 31 sickle bar mower, and broke the bolt that attaches the knife assembly to the drive unit. The bolt goes into a tapered end, and attaches to the lever that moves the blade back and forth. I got the stub of the bolt out, but I need to know the size, so i can replace it. 7/16 is close, but not exact. The parts diagram I have doesn't give a number for the bolt. It just shows an "X". Any help is appreciated.
