Disc identification assistance needed

I found a disc for sale that needs a little work but the price seems reasonable. Can anyone tell me what it is and approximately what would be a good price. Also if you have run one like it please let me know your thought on performance please

Thank you

(quoted from post at 20:54:47 08/24/15) Looks like a Deere RWA, I used one for about 20 years always did a good job.
No idea on price.

I have about 6 acres of mixed soil pasture (mostly clays) to turn and replant. I'm running 3 bottom plow and was looking for a clod buster to smooth things out before planting. This one is missing the lift cylinder and has several broken front disks but was run this spring in this condition. The owner said he didn't have a problem with it causing ridges. They are asking 400 but I believe I can get it for less.

Is a landscape trailer large enough to transport this disc? There is a tractor with loader available to spot it on a trailer for the ride home

I asked the owner to measure the disc spacing as he did not know the model number. I was told the spacing is 8 1/2". The back axles look like they carry 7 discs on each side of center. I can not see the the fronts well enough to count the discs

Definately a JD RWA. Usually around $500 in these parts. Not the best disk we ever had, but good for most jobs if it's adjusted
properly.

If it has 8 1/2" it's an RWA. I have an RW, does a decent job, have a homemade leveling crank on it. Found it ridges if pulled to fast. I paid about $300 for mine several years ago.

Parts catalog shows disk shaft for 8' RW & 8'6'' RWA to be the same part number(B10482) so both model of disks have be the same cutting width.

Granted 8' RW has 7 disk per gang while 8'6''' RWA has 6 disks per gang

RW disk spacing is around 7.25'' & RWA is around 9''

I have an RWA. Disc spacing is 8 1/2 inches and there are 7 discs per section. Parts Catalog says that's 9ft, 10 inches. I definiteley see
8 discs per section in the posted photo and if they are spaced at 8 1/2 inches, that makes 11 ft, 2 inches (again per Parts Catalog)

Should have added that there is a large pin in the hitch pipe that comes out and the hitch can easily be removed to possibly make hauling easier.

Price of $400 is too much since several discs are broken.

The owner told me the unit is about 11 feet wide and 7' 6" deep with the pin pulled and tongue removed. I have an equipment trailer lined up to haul it home if its as he described and we can agree on a price.

I have one too. I made a wooden drag that I pull behind to level out the furrows behind the disc for planting hay fields, which I want perfectly smooth. It does a good
job. Just grease up all the bearings

I had some 16" blades custom-punched for my disk that uses 1 1/8 round axles. Cheaper than prepunched blades
Let me know if you need to price some blades

Thank you, I will let you know once I have the equipment home and inspected
