Kewanee 1020 disc info

Just purchased a kewanee 1020 disk 20ft width. Needs two gang bearings replaced as well as a wheelbearing. Does anyone have experience with this disc or know some of the bearing numbers for parts replacement?

Shoupparts.com will get you the repairs. Have got bearings and a gang bolt from them.

At least that is a new enough of a model you can get aftermarket parts for unlike the 100 series that no bearings are avaible for anyplace at any cost.

Wheel bearings should be no problem. Do the gang bearings have the square hole? think I have some around. Parted out a 1025 awhile back
and I rarely throw anything away.

bushog bought kewannee and killed off the line so not many parts any more white did outsource there disks from kewanee
in the late 70s so they could match the common bearings. there were two different gang bearings a one piece square
flange bearing part Number b-2725 and three piece round flange bearing parts b-2289 , b-2246 and b-2288. these are
common bearings and most implements can match them . there were also two different wheel hubs one had studs and one had
bolts of course none of the bearings are the same . the dust caps are the same part x-8697 IH part 518842r1 the
bearings for the bolt hub are part x-5629, IH part 651818r91 x- 5628, IH 651817r1 outer and part b-2376, IH 61801c1 ,
b-2373, IH 61802c1 forn inner. the bearings for the studed hub are x- 5656, IH part 618023r1 x-5655, IH part 618024r1
inner and x-5628, IH part 651817r91 and x-5629, IH part 651818r91 outer. dad got his disk at an IH dealership so thats
how i have the IH part numbers i dont have the seal part numbers sorry.
