hydraulic line hook up IH

got a neighbor up the street, we do some hand washing. for his bit was going to plow a piece for me with a IH 4 btm w/ hydraulic resets, that his father had now he has, has been back in the brush for awhile. make a long story short, pulled away from the plow, forgot about the hyd lines & popped them off the back of his IH Hydro tractor. comes to me with a Pioneer adaptor in his hand, can't get it to go into one side of the remotes on the tractor, other side is fine, locked and a match, same adaptor, just can't get the other to seat and lock. lines on the plow are fine and are IH. this is making feel smart as a turnip what am I missing

Prolly back pressure on the balls/pins in the connectors!
If tractor end, just cycle handle a couple times with tractor shut off!
If implement end you may have to loosen the line to relieve pressure!

That line has pressure built up in it so you have to move the control valve to let the pressure off that side or take a punch etc and push the ball in to let the pressure off of it. Be careful it can blow out fluid at high pressure
