Farmall Cub 22 Sickle Mower

I recently got a 1948 Cub with a Cub 22 sickle mower. When I put the cutter bar into the vertical transport position the knife falls down out of the cutter bar. Many years ago I had another Cub with the Cub 22 mower and never had a problem with this. I can't recall now if there is a part or something else that keeps the knife from falling. Is it just friction that is supposed to hold it, or am I missing a part that holds it.

It has been a long time, but as I recall there is a bracket with an ear near the bottom end of the sickle that sticks out far enough to catch the lock for the pitman when the sickle is vertical.

Thanks. I think I have it. The spur like thing on the pitman rod catches a protection on the rear knife head cap. My cap is broken.
