Hi, i just acquired a couple of these with a hitch. I noticed one of the drive wheels (right) were rubbing on the frame, there was
so much play that the ratchet was outside the hub, and i think the spring was long gone years ago. The other one has the same
problem, though not quite as bad. So i took it apart, and inside the hub it looks like there was once upon a time, a bearing, but
i'm not sure. I just happened to find a manual on e-bay today, and bought it. Just wondering if anyone here would have any
info.... these were made in Spokane WA in the 40's, and since i live close by, i thought it'd be fun to restore these. There is a
place i found in Caldwell Id. that manufactures parts too.
