JD 346 baler which is having problems with 1/75 bales twine breaking. The knot is tied fine but the twine breaks either immediately after the bale is dropped or while handling. Only the right twine breaks (as you are facing the direction of travel). The break is right next to the knot (within 1/4 inch or less, basically on the knot) on the string over the top of the bale. As I said before the knot is good and tight and same as the left side.
I looked it up in the manual and made sure every setting is to spec. I took off the wiper arm on that right side and found a burr on the concave that wipes over the billhook and wipes the knot off and smoothed/cleaned it up. Could not find any other rough spots on the wiper arm and sharpened the twine knives.
Any suggestions?
