Vermeer 605j

Morning all,

I have a 605j with electric tie and monitor, I have
both the number of wraps and end wraps turned all
the way up but it still doesn't put near enough string
on the bale. I'm new to Vermeer balers and not sure
where to start adjusting. Any suggestions are
greatly appreciated

I have the 505 Super I with the same monitor you are talking about. I can't get that to work either. I have to program how much twine to put on. If you push and hold the program button and then use your arrows to scroll through after your number of wraps you can program by I believe it's "learn" push extend and hold untill it beeps then retract stopping on each line on your indicator on the baler for 3 seconds each and your second to last line 12 seconds. Then hold retract until it beeps again. That has worked well for us. Hope this helps. Mike
