Hesstom 530

Just got this baler used, and it seems to work fine with the exception of not dropping the bale when the rear is opened. I can pull the bale out by hand, but this will get old. Anyone have a suggestion as to what might be causing the issue?

Mine has always done that. I jiggle the gate up and down and it works its way out. It works better after its bale some and gets shined up.

Sometimes if the bale gets too large it does not want to roll out as good. Also, what the other poster said about the sides of the chamber getting shined up after a few bales is right on. Try stopping a few bales a little early and see if that helps. Both the bale indicator and the overfull 'clicker' device are adjustable. They may need some adjustment in relation to actual bale size. I know Hesston says that they are 54 inches tall, but I have never gotten over 48 inches. Have a 5530 (older version) and a 530.
