Woods mower throwing belts

We have an old Woods 10' wide mower that is PTO driven off the tractor . It has 3 spindles that are belt driven with 6 belts-3 on each side. We have recently replaced all the belts but it keeps wanting to throw belts. I have checked each spindle for wobble. I thought that perhaps we were running it too fast but my daughter thinks we are running it too slow. Any other ideas on what to look for?

Bad bearing will cause that big time and it does not take a lot of slop to throw a belt

Is the tensioner in good condition? Even if the spindles are good the belt tensioner could be loose where it mounts to the deck or have bad bearings.

I had the deck belt on the mower start that. Turned out to be a bad belt. My small engine guy said they can be almost like a tire that breaks its steel belting.

make sure you have the belts on the right pulleys. Pretty easy to use the high center and the low outside pulleys when changing the belts.
