Want to get this old drill working, I know nothing about it. Grass and seed box's have L (LL) 246 on them. Need parts and operators manuals. Hope to get the pictures on here.

Darned good drill. I'd replace all the opener bearings, grease 'er up and go. Should outlast you and I together. :>)

Hey Allan, long time, I went thru your area last year. Almost called but had to get back to MN. Bob
 
I agree that it looks like a very late model and a good one. Either 12 or 14 foot width? Those were I believe 7 inch row spacing? Earlier
ones had steel front wheels. What part of MN do live? Press drills are not common where I live (SC MN) It has both fertilizer and grass
seed boxes in addition to the main seed box. The fertilizer box can be a problem if you leave any fertilizer in it after use. It will cake
up and rust the metal. Clean it good after each use.
