I had a bit of a break down last week while cutting hay with my Ford 535 MOCO. the sickle head broke half way down its length so I had to install my spare sickle assembly. I am now on the hunt for a replacement sickle head. I understand that the New Idea 290 and MF81 are the same machines and I have found a new MF81Haytender sickle head with part no 290724 but that does not match the Ford 535 oem part #290271. Anybody here have experience swapping parts from those machines. Would really like to know if they are the same part. It is one of those deals if I order it in and its wrong it is non returnable. I have not had any luck finding a used part. Thanks, Leon
