Weight of Seven Foot Cultipacker

Double roller ? I moved my 8' McCormick-Deering "soil pulverizer as they call it, in a 3/4 ton truck with no problem, just have to cushion the tongue where it meets the side of the bed. I would think it might be close, but within reason, more so with a trailer, I moved an 8' M-F #25 disc harrow with a friend driving his late model might have been a 2014 cherokee, or whatever SUV model it was with a 5x9 trailer, it was no problem at all, 140 miles for that trip loaded one way. Just to give some scale, similar weight.

Many years ago I moved a 8 ft Brillion (sp) double roller in a 1/2 ton pickup. Made it ok,

Note to file: a flat bed trailer would have been a better transport choice.

I have an 8 foot JD and 2 matching 4 foot's, I wouldn't hesitate at putting the 8 footer in the truck. Only thing is the hitch is kind of long, so you may need to stand it on it's back! :p
