Well it may be salvageable. I found the broken part in the field--and no it wasn't in my tire but I was thinking about that! It looks like just the pitman stick is broken but I don't know yet how it attaches to the pulley. There is a shaft there so I think whatever it is we can make it work. A little welding and maybe back in business. I don't as of yet know why it broke so I may still have a serious issue somewhere else--or maybe just a bearing. We shall see. Not a high priority right I've got lots of hay on the ground keeping me busy.
