NH 850 Baler question

My floor chain channels are worn out. Manual says to take front and rear plow bolts out loosen chains and remove channels. I cannot find any bolts in channels only in floor. It looks like the channels are made to floor. Do I have to replace the floor and than the channels? I have a parts baler and it looks the just like my baler. The dealer shows that the channels unbolt from the floor.

Each chain has it's own adjuster. I have removed all the floor chains and rear floor hold down bolts. It loos like the channels are welded to floor.

They are not welded down unless some one got stupid. Yes hard to see. I replaced a couple on my NH850 a couple years ago. Not fun and you have to pretty much figure out how to get under it to pull the bolts but it can be done. Car ramps help a lot BTDT

I did one a few years ago that the channels were spot welded. Just used a chisel and they popped right off then bolted the new ones on. I think they were factory because there were no bolt holes in the channels but there was in the baler. Pull it up on some ramps to give you some room to work under it. It is not a bad job.

Likely a very early baler. I have one, and the channels are spot welded in, but as someone else said, I was able to chisel them out, and replace. I probably should have bolted the replacements in, but figured they will outlast the rest of the baler, so I simply spot welded them back in with my wire welder.
