IH Hay rakes

I will be looking at an older 5 bar IH hay rake with the dual front dolly wheels. Is there a model that's good or better than the other? We had a JD 5 bar 640 growing up and I have a New Holland 5 bar 58 right now that hitches directly to the tractor without a dolly wheel. Are the IH rakes as good as these or will I be disappointed?

Believe it or not my hay ground has enough dips and rises that the New Holland is leaving a lot of hay in the field becaus of it long wheel base (back wheels of the rake to the back wheels of the tractor)- I think with the dolly wheel the rake will do a better job of getting the hay out of the dips.

I use no 15 IH older still it picks up good I have run lots of new Holland rakes 56 thru a 258 they all seem to pick up good are u running teeth low enough
