I am in the process of painting this running gear and can't find any indication of the original color. It has the old style solid wheels with 5 lugs and 16 inch tires. If anyone knows the right color let me know. Thanks, TC

I thought by now someone would have answered your post. I'll try. I rebuild gears as part of my parade wagon hobby so I have found sources of information that have been helpful to me. I googled "electric 660 running gear" and found an answer on Yesterday's Tractor site from 01-28-2008. A responder said that Electric 660 gears were manufactured for Oliver in the late 40's and early 50's. Electric manufactured gears for many companies. Another responder said he had an Electric 660 - Oliver - and it had green wheels and a red frame. Now you'll need to do a little more research to determine what color Oliver green and red from the 40's and 50's. Hope this is helpful.

I finally found some black paint on the inside of one wheel. This is what I had suspected . I had already restored a 391 oliver wagon and it was as you said red frame and green wheels. It was also made by Electric. Thanks for the reply,TC
