storing corn

Sorry to ask this here but I dont know where it would fit
I need to store cob corn this coming fall
I want to put up about 8-10 165 bushel wagons worth
does anyone have any ideas
I have thought about building a crib with a slope floor and a conveyor for easy corn removal
Thanks

We used to make our own temporary corn cribs out of woven fence wire. We would make a circle of it about 15 feet in diameter and start filling in the center with the elevator. When that ring was full to the top of the wire, they would put a second ring of fence wire on top of it but about 3 foot smaller diameter. we would fill that up and then add a third and yet smaller ring. When it was time to shell, they would just cut the wire and load it up with the loader into our silage wagon and let that feed the sheller.

Temporary for a few years, or a long term building?

Around here you can buy the old wire ring ones for about scrap price, just going to be labor of taking down and putting back up on your
concrete ring. They are often about 1000-1200bu size, sounds just about right for you.

Maybe you could find and old Behlin system, they were basically metal sloped floor cribs.

Wooden snow fence makes a great temp crib.

we need a way to store it through the winter and next summer
we will be bagging it as needed in about 35-40 pound bags
this past year I was only able to store about 300 bags and that is not enough which is why I am looking for a way to bulk store it
