I'm hoping that someone can tell me what the correct belt size is for a Ford 930A 60" finish mower. The fellow that I bought mine from was running Gates Hi-Power II #B69 72" belts but had the gearbox adjusted so far forward (to tighten the belts) that the PTO shaft won't come off w/o detaching the whole mower, and mounting the thing on my 8N ain't that east, either.
The service manual indicates a W-61 v-belt, whatever that is for I can't find a reference to it anywhere.
Gates does make #B69 71" (and shorter) Hi-Power II belts and I'm wondering if that may be the way to go for replacement belts. Any help from someone's experience would be greatly appreciated.
