Claas Rollant 44 Electric Tie Issues

Hi yall. New poster to the forums, but have used the archives extensively. However I have an issue I could not resolve with this round baler. I recently got it. It has the electric auto tying mechanism, however the wires are burnt up and disconnected and I don't know how they go. Can anyone point me to a wiring diagram or something for this thing? I bought owners manual and it had nothing. I think I read RodinNS has one these things maybe you can chime in? All help is appreciated. :)

I don't have a wiring diagram... but from memory.... there are two power feeds into the controller and one ground wire. THe way they were originally set up is that the push button switch applies intermittent power to the controller until the want is about vertical... then it closes a micro on the controller and it takes over control of the rate of travel of the wand through the constant power feed to the controller from the third wire.
If nothing works after you have power applied check the fuse in the front left of the controller. They low or the fuse holder could also be bad. It's also an odd size glass fuse that's hard to get locally. I ended up just cutting the wires off the motor and controlling it manually through a momentary switch. It sucks but it works.... I don't want to know how much the controller costs...
Bottom line here... this thing is a DC motor. Reversing polarity will not hurt it... so just spark it up and see what it takes to make it work... and chase the wires to see which one is grounded to a case somewhere. The other pair will be the hot feeds.

Sorry. I didn't see this until today. The controller is no longer available, so if it's bad, you'll need to bypass and run manually. The yellow/green wire on the motor is + and the purple is -. You can also merely remove the black plug from the speed controller and jump terminals 1&3, and 2&4. Everything works in fast speed. If you want to manually control the speed, unplug the micro switch and the motor runs when the button is pushed.

Ok. Do you know how the original wires were set up? Mine were all burned up and don't know how they go connected. So I don't know if the controller works or not. Thanks
