My neighbor found this cultivator in the woods, he made it so he could hook it to his 3pt hitch, it's pretty old and we can't find any markings to who made it, any ideas?

Did those top arches (leaf springs?) ever do anything, and are they pointless now with the modifications? Looks strange like they are just laying there......

My friend thinks you flip it over and drag it on the leaf springs. Or at least before he modified it.

It's a farmall cub-3 spring tooth field cultivator. It's a shame they hacked it all up.

That's a 7 shank isn't it?

Yes my thoughts too were you turn it over and drag it to the field on the leaf springs then flip it back when you get to the field and start tearing up the soil.

Lol, hacked it up, he made it to fit his tractor, maybe he should have scrapped it, eh

For the price that get for one that isn't all hacked up to a cub collector he probably could have bought a good used 3pt one or maybe even new.
