IH 249 corn planter

Looking for some help. I bought a 249 IH corn planter that needed some work. The gear box had locked up, and broke two of the small gears that helps lift the corn planter. These are two straight bevel gears with 10 gears each. The hole on the inside of the gear is about 5/8" - maybe 3/4" - I haven't measured that. they are the gears like the ones in the picture. Middle center of the picture.
Any way, I got the gear box fixed, but cannot find these gears anywhere. Does anyone know where to find them, and or have a junk one that I could buy the gears off of? Any help would be appreciated.

Might give you more to look at. Try 449, 449A and 450 in 4 row models, should be same. Those 4 row planters with the clutch lift are in the thousand dollar range. I don't know if the dealer has any parted out planters or not but if he found any hydrolick lift planters they would be parted out as hydrolicks cannot be used and those gears should be the same on all the above plus the 250 planter. I see yours is a clutch lift and that also is a valuable planter but very few around. When they were made and sold most new planters were 4 row. Also the 4XX series was made as a 6 row. Given enough time I think I could find a part number for those gears and you might be able to go to Messicks parts site, Case-IHC dealer, and find the numbers on their site. And the numbers will help with your search.

I have a junk 2 row planter IH. send some more detailed pictures and sprocket numbers (teeth and part numbers I can check for you.

(quoted from post at 15:50:23 05/06/15) I think we have one on our parts planter. My son is working on it to disassemble it.

That would be great. I did find one at a junk yard, but I still need one more.
Thanks a lot for the help.
