Number of round bales to a bundle of plastic

Going to use 20,000 plastic twine in the round baler this year. If the bales are 4 ft wide and 5 ft tall and I use what I am saying a medium amount of twine on each bale. Is it fair to think that I would use a bundle [2 spools] on 50 bales of hay. The baler is electric tie and I have to bump the switch to make it move to I can vary the amount going on. Some of this hay is going to have to stay out side so wanting to put a fair amount on. Thanks

I could do 30 5x6 rounds from a 14000' roll of plastic with my old vermeer 605D, 13 wraps + triples on the ends.(hand controlled hydr tie)
With my JD 567 i can do only 15-17 bales with same amount of twine,.2 twine arms electr tie,,same number of wraps but 2 strands per wrap.

I can get about 70 4x5's with a bale of 16000 regular. Mine has the computerized electric twine arms and puts on two at a time.

I guess it depends on how much twine you want to use... I would think you'd get closer to 100 bales from that amount of twine. My baler has one twine arm and I've gotten as many as 100 4x4 from a ball... but if I use a more realistic amount of twine then 60-70 is a better number.

I would guess 50-100 bales per 2 balls of twine, depending how closely your wrap it.

I run a 505 SI Vermeer with auto tie, the way I have my wraps set I get 40 bales give or take a couple, this seems to give me a good wrap and they hold up well to being handled a few times before feeding

Looks like some real nice hay. What is it? You don't see big flat fields like that here in Va.

That one is Crested Wheat Grass, I raise mostly Crested and Alfalfa mix, I am in NE Wyoming another few of my fields for you, the last is a shot of just before I started cutting and are 99% pure Alfalfa

I sell all of it, I have no stock to feed, I get average of 100 a ton for the rounds, I do put up a small amount of small squares but only by special order
