Gear Lube Question

Probably a dumb question, but will 85W140 gear lube be OK for something that originally used straight 140 lube? OM for 24T baler
specifies SAE140 for the gear case, but that's nearly impossible to find these days. Thanks.
 
Been using that for years....140 is almost impossible to find, especially in smaller than 55 gal drums.

There is a gallon of 140 weight GL-1 on ebay for $ 9.99+$27.00 shipping.
