Bush Hog and Harrow restore

I just bought a new tractor that came with a 4ft bush hog and a 6ft harrow. Both are older and have no paint left on them. What all can I do to make them work better? I am considering sand blasting or pressure washing both of them and then putting on a fresh coat of paint. Greasing all grease points. Any other ideas?

Paint has NOTHING to do with how well a machine works. Check and replace any questionable bearings, replace any leaking
seals,tighten/replace any loose missing bolts, sharpen blades, replace any missing teeth.......Paint should be the least of your
worries/concerns.

a new tractor, wow, that is for sure something on my bucket list some day.
if I had a new tractor, I would want all my equipment looking new and standing tall.

but as was said, first get your equipment in good working order, then comes the paint.

I only have setting under an old oak tree as a barn to keep my equipment.
but I still like it to be in good order.

It's a Greenline 5000

I always wanted one, found this one for a good deal, gearbox was full of oil, no leaks, it had been setting in a barn for many years. Took some effort to break the auger loose from the gearbox shaft, installed soft shear bolts all around.

Note to file: be prepared, if you get a post hole digger, you will have many new friends, of course they will all want to borrow your post hole digger.
