Hesston 8020 Header

I switched from a NH 499 to a sp Hesston last year, and I am replacing the knives on it this spring. It has an 8020 Header with shims under the guards including the center and everything left of the center. The online parts books only calls for a shim under the center adjustable hold down. It does not show ANY shims under the guards. My nh had shims in the same locations.....is the book wrong or should I be removing all the shims? Thanks for the help!

According to the engineering assembly drawing the parts catalog is correct - there is only a shim under the center hold-down. If it has the factory-correct guards and sickle you shouldn't need shims anywhere else.
