Trick to remove discs on JD 9300 grain drill

Is there a trick to removing the plugs (bolts) on the outside of the bearing case? Most of the ones on the drill I have are original and the head of the bolt on most of them is all rounded off. Socket or wrench don't have nothing to bite on.

On a 71 planter the little plugs had left hand thread. I can"t remember if the left
hand threaded ones were just on the left side or not but just look for left hand
threads is all I can contribute. bjr

Yes, on the left side...rotation of the disc would help keep them tight. Right side is right hand thread.
