Old disc harrow - what is it?

I bought a used disc last week. Being a newbie I didn't know what I was buying till I got it home and was going to grease the bearings. Discovered it hadn't been greased in a long time and some of the bearing caps were loose. I broke a bolt removing one because the bolt rusted inside the top bearing cap. Took it to my mechanic and he heated and removed the bolt but broke the casting in the process. He sent me to another fellow in town to get it welded.

I'd like to find some replacement parts if I could identify the manufacturer. The top cap is stamped D 4070 and the bottom is stamped D 4075. The bolt holes appear to be 3 1/4 center to center. The bottom cap is 4 3/4 long.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Brand name I can't tell you, but it looks a lot like the ones I used to see for sale at Central Tractor Farm and Family back before they folded. They weren't JD green though.

Yes, it has been repainted - some years ago. The picture looks better than it really is. They painted over rust and all. The fact they painted over the grease fittings tells me it hasn't been greased in some time. Seems like manufacturers use to take pride in their products and affixed metal tags showing manufacturer, model, etc.

Still it would be nice to know who made it.
